Assistant Wedding and Social Sales Manager,

Full-Time Hourly

Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

Location: San Diego, CA

Compensation: Commensurate Upon Experience

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the role of Assistant Social and Wedding Sales Manager that has at least 3-5 years’ experience in the catering and event industry. The candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, creative and proficient when working in Excel, SharePoint, Office 365, and PowerPoint. Additional experience in Square, Caterease and AllSeated is preferred.  

Job Duties

  • Maintain and manage all general administrative tasks (answering all inbound calls, manage incoming parcels/mail, etc.).

  • Manage companywide calendars.

  • Order and maintain office supplies inventory (for copy room and office kitchenette).

  • Light cleaning/tidying of general spaces.

  • Co-manage client events under the direction of Wedding and Social Sales Manager and Director of Sales.

  • Monitor Square order site and process seasonal/holiday promotions and special event orders (virtual events included).

  • Design and print signage, labels, menu cards, place cards, gift tags, etc.

  • Package client orders (catering and gifting).

  • Print and distribute BEO information.

Skills Required 

  • Strong Interpersonal oral and written skills.

  • Strong knowledge of job duties and functions.

  • Ability to adapt to changing demands.

  • Ability to prioritize workflow resulting in efficient and accurate results.

  • Self-Starter, ability to take a project from inception to completion.

This position may require the employee to work on weekends, holidays, and after standard business hours as needed to be of service to clients and guests.
